Myrtle Beach rental property booking tips:
When to reserve a Myrtle Beach rental & When to go:
- The sooner your group can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are reserved very early. Booking your vacation property six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Myrtle Beach. To get the best rental home within budget, we highly recommend reserving in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at popular Myrtle Beach attractions and restaurants.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your family qualifies for a reduced rate.
- Property managers frequently offer their guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally costs between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
- Find a copy of your local visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great information, travel guide magazines have money saving offers on local tours, shops, and attractions.
Selecting the perfect rental in Myrtle Beach:
- First, have your family choose a vacation week and a spending budget.
- Decide how many beds and the configuration you need. Jacuzzi Corner Wrap Around Balcony Condo Fireplace has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is usually available on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, email the property management company before booking the home. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches. You will need to determine what configuration is best for your vacation group.
- If your group is vacationing with pets, you'll need to find a pet-friendly property. Request details on breed, weight, and type requirements. Note that some property managers charge pet deposits and fees.
- If there's a specific Myrtle Beach attraction you crave, search for homes that are either near by, or those that cater to your needs.
- Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. .
Additional considerations:
- Take a copy of the owner's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your rental home. Store the manager's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, intercom or WIFI setup. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief phone call can prevent many concerns.
- Lock your rental while you are out. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
- To make sure damages are not linked to your stay, note any problem areas during arrival. Make contact with the property manager right away to report any issues. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be helpful.
- Respect the neighborhood. Frequently, nearby homes are filled by local residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking policies is the right thing to do.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Re-check the property to confirm that you've packed all belongings at check-out. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Please make sure to walk through the property a final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, remember to take pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
- Did your family have a great stay? Many rental managers make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your rental and/or host was fantastic, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was imperfect and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
