Comments from a recent guest:
Dear Joe,
Thank you so much for accepting us to rent the Seawatch condo last week. We thoroughly appreciated our time there! The vistas from the unit are magnificent, as you promised. The condo is well equipped and the large TV was a additional. It was nice to be able to use my iPod, as well. I have never slept in such a comfortable bed. I am now encouraging (he calls it "nagging"!!) my husband to get a pillowtop bed!
We also adored many local attractions throughout the week such as mini golf, Medieval Times, NASCAR, aquarium, shopping, shopping, shopping. My husband went fishing with a tour group based in Little River, as well. The best part was really spending quality time as a family walking along the beach and picking up shells. Life can be hectic so this "down" time was really
appreciated.
Thank you once again. You are really blessed to have this property as your own.
Sincerely,
TL

Finding the best Myrtle Beach vacation rental experience:
How to get the best rental home value:
- The earlier you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental properties are reserved very early. Booking your rental home six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental home.
- Summer is high season in the Myrtle Beach area. Booking in Fall or Spring is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season.
- Some hosts and property managers offer discounts for veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special discounts are available for your family.
- Property managers usually offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
- Find a copy of your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, visitors guide magazines have discounts for nearby shops and restaurants.
Narrow your Search:
- First, have your group select date ranges and a budget.
- Determine how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration you need. Newly Renovated Direct Oceanfront 3BR\/2BA Condo With Large Wrap Around Balcony! has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts is regularly accessible on booking pages. If not, email or call the host before you book the property. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You will need to establish what is right for your vacation family.
- Are you bringing the family pet? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional fees or costs may be applied to your invoice.
- Visiting for a specific event or attraction? If so, use a map search to browse nearby properties.
- Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Remember to confirm all required amenities are available and included before booking
Additional considerations:
- Be sure you get the host's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your . We recommend storing the manager's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
- Hosts are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
- Lock your rental home while you are out and about. Keep your property safe!
- To make certain that damages aren't attributed to your stay, inspect the rental for any problem areas upon check in. Make contact with the rental manager right away to relay any damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be very helpful.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will enhance your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are usually an excellent resource to find the best local spots.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can often help. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
- On check-out day, take a final walk-through to make sure you have not forget anything. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Did you have a excellent stay? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your rental property and/or property manager was terrific, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was out of order and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
