This pretty complex is located on 13 acres that was originally the Ocean Forest Hotel, a South Carolina landmark, in the Pine Lakes area. It is located at 5601 N. Ocean Blvd. and considered by locals as one of the most gorgeous beaches on the Grandiose Strand.
There are 1,000 feet of white sand beach for family fun or a calming walk. The complex has 2 pools and 2 Jacuzzis. The master suite has a queen bed, a striking new private bath, and opens to the private deck. The second bedroom has 2 twin xl beds with new beds and a enormous bathroom with tub/shower.
Our condo is effortlessly considered the best location in Ocean Forest Villas.
This is a second floor beachfront unit so the vistas of the beach are fabulous. This unit is also a corner unit so you will only have neighbors on one side. Your beachfront unit also overlooks the pool and sundeck. Only a handful of units at Ocean Forest Villas have a similar premium location.
Plenty of complimentary on-site parking. Great shopping close by at Tanger Outlets. Publix, Lowes, and Fresh Market near as well. Great golf right across from the entrance at Pine Lakes.
If you prefer there is a nice sidewalk for running or walking as well as a parcourse for exercise.

How to get the best Myrtle Beach vacation rental experience:
When to go & When to book:
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Myrtle Beach. Booking your vacation rental in the Spring or Fall is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
- Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Some owners offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your family.
- Booking websites frequently offer renters an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for additional information.
- Find a copy of your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, visitor guide magazines contain money saving offers on nearby accommodations, restaurants and tours.
Make a plan and choose the rightvacation home:
- Select a group lead, select your trip dates, and choose a spending budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration you need. OCEAN FRONT!!! See fabulous renovation photos has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Myrtle Beach rentals search.
- Precise details about bedrooms and bed types is generally accessible on booking websites. If they are not listed, call the property owner before reserving the vacation property. Note that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull out couches in living rooms.
- Visiting for a specific attraction? If so, use a map search to browse nearby rentals.
- Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
- Some rentals allow pets, and some do not. Acceptable types of dog or cat, size and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask the host about allowable pet guidelines before booking.
Considerations for your stay:
- Get the property manager's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your rental home.
- During arrival, make note of any damages to the rental property and immediately alert the property manager. Keep records of all coorespondence.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, A/V setup or washer/dryer. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents many issues.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are an excellent source for finding the best local beaches and restaurants.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
- Keep the property locked while you are gone! Don't let crooks ruin your family vacation.
- On check-out day, complete a final walk-through to confirm you have not forget anything. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Walk through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition.
- Did your family have a wonderful time? Most rental websites make it easy for guests to provide comments. If your rental property and/or property management company was great, they would love to hear about it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
