While the Sea Mist is a 65 year-old complex, we have went above and beyond to ensure that this unit is FAR from the average booking experience at a hotel. Past guests really adore the space, and we savor the fact that they treat it as if it were their own.
The departure cleaning fee is in place to compensate the cleaner, the cost of toiletries, and the laundering of the towels, linens, and linens. We really want to make your experience with us as economical as possible! Unlike many properties managed by other companies and homeowners, we can accommodate daily housekeeping and mid staying cleaning requests for a modest fee.
While we do our absolute best to ensure that all of our condos are cleaned, prepared, and comfortable for all of our guests, we do want to note that this resort is over 60 years old. Our prices reflect the age of the resort, décor, and condition of the amenities. We encourage all of our guests to do their own due diligence on the resorts and the area on all of our listings!

Finding the best Myrtle Beach vacation property experience:
When to visit & When to book:
- Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Summer is the most expensive season in coastal SC. Reserve your rental home in Fall or Spring months to enjoy beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August.
- Some owners offer promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group.
- Property managers usually offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for more information.
- Often, management companies supply Myrtle Beach area travel guides which will include special offers, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Use filters to narrow your search:
- To start, have your family decide on the best dates and a max budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration you need. Recently Updated Ocean View Studio-SM 51405 has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Myrtle Beach rentals search.
- Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is regularly available online. Otherwise, contact the property owner before booking the vacation property. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds and bunks.
- Remember to include your furry companions! Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional fees or costs may be applied to your invoice.
- If there's a specific Myrtle Beach destination you are crazy about, browse properties that are either near by, or those that cater to your needs.
- Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Make certain to ask about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
Additional considerations:
- Review arrival and departure procedures before leaving home. Save the instructions to your smartphone, and take a printed copy.
- Property managers are great sources of help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Keep the property locked while you are away! Don't let crooks ruin your family vacation.
- At Check-in, make note of any issues with the rental property and immediately alert the owner. Keep records of all coorespondence.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You'll enhance your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a great resource to find the best local beaches and restaurants.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Double-check every room of the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings at departure. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Remember to leave a review! Property managers rely on great feedback to compel new reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to remedy it.
