What to Expect During the Renovation: Minimizing Disruptions
We understand the importance of a calming, fun stay for our guests, even as we make these improvements. That’s why our resort will remain open throughout the renovation period. Renovations will begin in early October and are expected to finish by the end of March. We’re working floor by floor in both the Dominican and Cayman buildings, ensuring the least amount of disruption.

Here’s what you can expect during this time:

Construction will only take place during normal business hours, and any noise will be kept to a minimum.
Common areas such as the lobby, exercise center, and game room may be temporarily closed, but we’re doing everything we can to offer alternative amenities when possible.
We aim to keep your experience as seamless and comfortable as possible while we work to make it even better!

Tips to get the best Myrtle Beach vacation home experience:

Money saving strategies:

  • In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier you can book a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The most desirable properties are booked very early. Booking your rental 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your rental property.
  • Summer is high season in Myrtle Beach. To get the largest rental for your budget, we highly recommend reserving in the Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at local restaurants, tours, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Some property managers offer promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your host or property manager if discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Property managers often offer renters an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Often, management companies supply Myrtle Beach area travel guides which will include special offers, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Filter your rental search:

  • Start by having your family select the best dates and a budget.
  • Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. Oceanfront Paradise Three-Bedroom Condo 21st Floor has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed types is regularly accessible on booking pages. If they are not listed, contact the property owner before reserving your home. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches. You'll need to work out what configuration is optimal for your family.
  • Do your family pets travel with you? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask the property manager before booking, and study your agreement! Additional pet fees or costs applied to your agreement.
  • Visiting for a single attraction? If so, use a map search to locate nearby properties.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before reserving a rental

More tips for your stay:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Take a printed copy, and save the instructions to your smartphone.
  • Hosts are there to help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Lock your rental while you're out. Keep your property safe!
  • During check-in, note any damages to the rental property and immediately alert the property manager. Record all coorespondence.
  • Be respectful of your neighbors. Often times, adjacent homes are filled by local residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can usually help. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Double-check every room of the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all belongings on check-out day. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did you have a fantastic time? Most rental home management companies make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your property and/or host was wonderful, they would love to hear about it. If anything was out of order and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
