Getting the best rental experience:
Get the most from your vacation rental budget:
- Summer time is high season in Myrtle Beach. Booking your vacation rental in the Fall or Spring is an excellent way to save on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
- Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your group qualifies for a reduced rate.
- Property management companies typically offer renters an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for specifics.
- Often, rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guides which often include money-saving offers, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Planning, selecting, and booking the best Myrtle Beach rental home:
- Select a group lead, select your dates, and select a budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and the configuration your group needs. Oceanfront\/Poolfront Condo in Myrtle Beach has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
- Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed counts & types is almost always available online. If they are not listed, contact the property management company before reserving the home. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds. You will need to establish what is right for your group.
- If there's an individual Myrtle Beach beach you are enamored with, keep an eye out for properties that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all required amenities are included before booking.
- If your family is bringing pets, search for a pet-friendly vacation rental. Get information on breed, size, and type restrictions. Usually, property owners charge additional pet fees.
Some things to know before you go:
- Review arrival and departure procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and add a note with the directions to your smartphone.
- To make sure that damages are not linked to your stay, record any problem areas upon your arrival. message the property manager right away to record your findings. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be useful.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, elevator or thermostat. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief call prevents many difficulties.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are an incredible resource to find the best local beaches and hangouts.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Ensure you protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental while you are out, just like you would at home.
- Double-check every room of the rental property to confirm that you've packed everything on check-out day. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Inspect the property a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the host is not available, remember to take photographs of the property to record its condition.
- After your trip, leave feedback! Property owners rely on good feedback to drive new reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other families will be thankful you shared your review find their best rental home. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to solve it.
