Our property at Pelican's Watch is a three bedroom 2 1/2 bath unit located on the beach. We are on the third (Top) floor and it is a end unit that accepts more natural light and vistas. It has been extensively refreshed over the years with new floor installed throughout the unit in 2023 and all new beds purchased in 2024. We have 5 flat screen TVs installed, one in each bedroom, one in the main living area and one on the screened in porch. All of the T.V.s are Intelligent TV's so they have all the apps you may need, such as Youtube TV, Netflix, Peacock,Paramount+, ESPN and more. The unit is equipped with Wifi so the kids will be able to use their devices. The kitchen has a tile backsplash, under cabinet lighting and updated stainless appliances. The kitchen is very well supplied with just about anything you may need to prepare dinner. You will be able to appreciate your morning coffee by using the Keurig or the traditional coffee maker. All the bedrooms have queen beds (all new beds in 2024). There is an additional queen air bed available. In the utility room we have supplied beach chairs, a beach umbrella, beach cart, body boards and Jeep themed corn hole boards. All towels and linens are located in the unit. Our building has an elevator for painless access to the unit after a long day at the beach. The building has an Oceanfront Pool, just steps away from the beach. The unit is at the center of shopping, golf and Restaurant Row. You can reach many eateries, the local grocery store, the Tanger outlets and even an 18 hole golf course without ever getting on Highway 17. The property is professionally cleaned every week. Our top Myrtle Beach vacation rental tips and tricks:
When to book & When to go:
- Summer months are high season in the Myrtle Beach area. Reserving a rental home in the Fall or Spring is our best tip for saving money on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable properties. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
- Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your group qualifies for a discount.
- Property management companies often offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for specifics.
- Find a copy of your local visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local articles, travel guide magazines contain coupons for nearby restaurants, attractions, and tours.
Use filters to narrow your search:
- Select a group lead, select your vacation week, and select a spending budget.
- Determine how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration you need. Pelican's Watch Shore Dr 3BR 2.5BA On the BEACH, new WiFi in 2025 lightning fast has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
- Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts & types is regularly accessible on booking websites. If not, call the host before you book the home. Note that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds and bunks. You will need to determine what bed configuration is suitable for your family.
- Are you visiting for a single event? Try a map search to browse nearby properties.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before booking.
- Remember to include your furry companions! Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your agreement! Additional fees or charges applied to your agreement.
Have a fantastic stay:
- Get the property manager's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental property.
- Record any damages to the property during check in, and immediately send them to the host. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that can be very helpful if a dispute arises.
- Property managers are available to help! Don't be shy to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You will enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are usually an excellent resource to find the best local restaurants, beaches, and hangouts.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
- Keep your rental home locked while you are out! Don't let thieves ruin your family vacation.
- Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all personal belongings. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Go through the rental a final time and look for damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, remember to take photos of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- After your trip, leave feedback! Property owners rely on good ratings to stimulate future bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to solve it.
