- Approximately 1600 square feet
Ours is a 5 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath home that sleeps 14 people comfortably. What sets this home apart from other homes in the area is the location on gorgeous Magnolia Lake and the close proximity to the ocean. It was constructed to maximize the view of the ocean, but it's also on a peaceful cul de sac that is away from the noise of the park. PEACEFUL is the word that describes this home. Fishermen adore that they can fish right from our home. There are 2 huge decks where you can gather as a group or get away for sunbathing. It is well furnished and all linens are available. There are few other homes in the Ocean Lakes complex that are as clean and well constructed as this one. People who stay here always tell us that this is their favorite home at Ocean Lakes.
Please note that Ocean Lakes charges a parking fee per car. Contact Ocean Lakes Family Campground for more information.

Booking the best Myrtle Beach rental experience:
Cost saving strategies:
- Summertime is the most expensive season in the Myrtle Beach area. Book your rental property in Fall or Spring months to get the benefit of gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier your group can book, the easier your search will be. The best rental properties are reserved very early. Booking your vacation home 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental property.
- Property managers sometimes offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family before you book.
- Property management companies typically offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally costs 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.
- Many property management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guide magazines which will include special deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a relationship with the property management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
How to pick the perfect vacation home:
- Choose a designated group leader, choose your dates, and choose a max budget.
- Note the number beds and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. Quiet Lake House with Spectacular Ocean View has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
- Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is generally available on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, email the property management company before you reserve your home. Note that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds and bunks.
- If there's an individual Myrtle Beach attraction you crave, search for homes that are either close by, or those that cater to your needs.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
- If your family is bringing pets, search for a rental that allows animals. Make sure to ask for specifics on breed, size, and type requirements. Usually, hosts charge pet deposits and fees.
During your stay:
- Add the property manager's phone number to your phone. Take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
- Document any damages to the property upon arrival, and immediately send them to the owner. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be useful if a dispute is filed.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, stereo or thermostat. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief phone call can prevent a lot of concerns.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious visitors bothering your peace. Practice the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and attractions you would have never otherwise known!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Keep the property locked while you're away! Don't let crooks ruin your holiday.
- Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the property to confirm you've collected all belongings. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Inspect the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, take photos of the property to record its condition at check-out.
- Leave feedback! Property owners rely on great ratings to drive future bookings. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will appreciate that you share your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.
