What to Expect During the Renovation: Minimizing Disruptions
We understand the importance of a calming, delightful stay for our guests, even as we make these improvements. That’s why our resort will remain open throughout the renovation period. Renovations will begin in early October and are expected to finish by the end of March. We’re working floor by floor in both the Dominican and Cayman buildings, ensuring the least amount of disruption.
Here’s what you can expect during this time:
Construction will only take place during normal business hours, and any noise will be kept to a minimum.
Common areas such as the lobby, exercise center, and game room may be temporarily closed, but we’re doing everything we can to offer alternative amenities when possible.
We aim to keep your experience as seamless and comfortable as possible while we work to make it even better!

Strategies to get the optimal vacation property experience:
When to visit & When to reserve a Myrtle Beach rental home:
- Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Winter holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Summertime is high season in Myrtle Beach. To find the most suitable rental home for your budget, we recommend reserving in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at Myrtle Beach restaurants, beaches, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
- Some owners offer special rates for veterans. Ask your property manager if rate reductions are available for your family before you book.
- Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer renters an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for details.
- Often, property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guide magazines which include money-saving deals, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
Use filters to search efficiently:
- Select dates and budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration your family needs. Spacious Coastal Living 3 Bedroom Condo 1st Floor has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Precise details about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is regularly accessible online. If not, reach out to the host before you reserve the home. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches. You will need to determine what is right for your family.
- If your group is vacationing with pets, you will need a property that allows animals. Ask for information on breed, size, and type requirements. Usually, hosts charge pet deposits and fees.
- Visiting for a single event? If so, use a map search to browse nearby rentals.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. .
Know before you go:
- Put the manager's information in your smartphone.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, stereo or appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent many issues.
- Lock your rental property while you're gone! Don't let thieves spoil your holiday.
- During arrival, record any issues with the rental property and immediately contact the host. Keep records of all coorespondence.
- Be respectful of your neighbors. Frequently, surrounding homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can typically help. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Re-check every room of the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings at check-out. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Did you have a excellent vacation? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for customers to provide reviews. If your property and/or property management company was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was amiss and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
