Our 3BR/3BA condo is the ideal get away for families, golfers, and beach lovers. This oceanfront unit has it all with two balconies and unbelievable vistas. It’s front corner location within the “Tower” overlooks not only miles of beach and ocean but also the tidal basin, pools, creek, duck pond, and close by Briarcliff Acres. Located near all of the appealing things to do in Myrtle Beach, including over 100 championship golf courses. Ocean Creek is a gated, secure, nationally acclaimed resort with over 50 acres of private beauty.
This meticulously maintained unit, with above mentioned upgrades, is positioned ideally for a glorious view of the Atlantic Ocean and surrounding area. The main balcony has access from both the living room and master bedroom, each with an entire wall of glass sliders. The balcony is furnished with a enormous round patio table, an end table, and 6 chairs. The view from this balcony is the main reason we purchased this particular unit! The second balcony, overlooking a wooded area with huge pond in Briarcliff Acres, is next to the dining room table, seating two – ideal for that private, peaceful evening drink. The main entrance entryway has a cushioned bench with three waterproof lined baskets for sandals and flip-flops.
The kitchen is completely outfitted with cooking silverware, equipment, pots & pans, bakeware, mixer, blender, electric skillet, dishwasher, dishes, microwave, coffer maker, ice maker and even a crock pot. The master bedroom features a private bath, new king-size bed, walk-in closet, tiled shower (with constructed in seat) and direct balcony access overlooking the ocean/beach. The second bedroom has a newer queen size bed with direct access to another remodeled bathroom. The third bedroom has two twin beds and private newly refreshed bathroom. The unit has 4 flat screen hi def TV's in all bedrooms and living room. The Samsung TV “swivels” for simple viewing anywhere in the LR. DR, and kitchen. Netflix, and Amazon for streaming available within the condo, private wi fi internet service included. In suite washer, dryer, iron, ironing board, beach cooler, cleaning supplies available (if so desired?) All units include linens, departure housekeeping, and "starter" supplies.
Ocean Creek has everything to make your vacation complete with multiple swimming pools, (one huge indoor) hot tub and kiddie pool. A multi-level deck cabana on the beach, the “Ocean Grille” (a full bar & grille) overlooking the pool, dunes and beach. Located next to the cabana are a sand volleyball court, horseshoe pit, kids’s playground, and sizable oceanfront pool/hot tub. Appreciate the miles of undisturbed beach to the south. Lifeguards are present Memorial Day – mid September on the beach. Guests also have use of our private beach locker for storing beach chairs, body boards, toys, etc. located in the "Beach Club"
Egrets, herons, and cranes frequent the tidal basin and add to the natural beauty of this unique resort. Great shelling, tubing, crabbing, and fishing in the tidal basin provide even more fun for all. And between the North and South “Towers” ducks and turtles swim in the pond waiting to be fed. Ocean Creek is even home to “Buddy” our resident owl that you might see coming into or leaving the resort. OC also has a tram that runs at frequent intervals throughout the resort.
Other amenities offered are the Four Seasons restaurant and lounge, exercise center, tennis center with 6 USTA certified courts, nature trails and bicycle paths. Plus, over 50 acres of well-manicured and natural, private beauty. Golfers will appreciate the practice putting green located within the resort. The Ocean Creek Resort is gated and has security guards 24/7 for your safety and privacy.
Barefoot Landing is directly across from Ocean Creek's entrance, and next to the handsome setting of the inter-coastal waterway. It features over 100 stores, eateries and entertainment venues such as the House of Blues and Alabama Theater, as well as Alligator Adventure, a fashionable destination for kids.
Located just south of Ocean Creek is Tanger Outlets which features stores such as Polo, Banana Republic, Loft, Gap, J CREW, Under Armour, Coach, and more. We are only mins. away from Broadway at the Beach, Ripleys Aquarium, Wonder Works, IMAX Theatre, Carolina Opry, Pirates Voyage, Family Kingdom Amusement Park, the Boardwalk and Sky Wheel. OC is a short drive away from Murrells Inlet, Brook Green Gardens, and the battleship “North Carolina” in Wilmington.
Safety Features of Condo & Ocean Creek: OC is a gated community with 24/7 security and guard home. They make routine rounds of Tower North, the grounds and Beach Club. Tower North has monthly test of the fire alarm. Building has a loudspeaker system for emergencies or announcements. Tower North also has its own generator if power goes down. Within the condo a list of emergency phone numbers are posted on refrigerator and under glass of LR coffee table. The unit's dryer vents are professionally cleaned annually. Condo is just steps away and across from stairs and emergency fire exit. Fire extinguisher located on kitchen counter in corner by refrigerator. Unit HVAC system is newer & all electric. Newer sliding glass doors (to oceanfront building code standards) in LR and MBR. Will resist up to 155 mph winds without breakage against flying projectiles in case of inclement weather. Condo complete with a First Aid Kit if needed in kitchen by fire extinguisher
