Booking the best vacation property experience:
Sticking to a spending plan:
- The earlier you can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental homes are booked early. Reserving your rental home up to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and book your rental home.
- Summer is the most expensive season in the Myrtle Beach area. Book your vacation home in the Spring or Fall to get the benefit of gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your family qualifies for a price reduction.
- Property management companies typically offer guests an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for details.
- Many rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guide magazines which often include coupons, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Planning, picking, and booking the right Myrtle Beach rental home:
- Select a group leader, choose your trip dates, and choose a max budget.
- Five 2BR\/2BA Suites has 10 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts is usually available online. If not, reach out to the property management company before booking your home. Remember that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches. You'll need to determine what is optimal for your vacation family.
- If your group is vacationing with pets, filter your search for a pet-friendly property. Get details on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Be aware that some property owners charge pet deposits and fees.
- If there's a particular Myrtle Beach attraction you crave, keep an eye out for homes that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your needs.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before reserving a rental.
More considerations for your visit:
- Be sure you get the property manager's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your rental property. We recommend storing the host's contact information in your smartphone.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, stereo or kitchen appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief call prevents a lot of concerns.
- Lock your rental home while you are out and about. Protect the owner's property and your things!
- To make sure that no damages are attributed to your visit, note any problem areas upon check in. message the property manager immediately to report any damages. If there is a dispute, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be useful.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are an incredible resource to find the best local attractions.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
- Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected everything. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Go through the rental one final time and look for damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever possible. If the manager is not available, remember to take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- Did your family have a terrific stay? Most rental websites make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your property and/or property manager was wonderful, they would love to hear it. If anything was defective and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
