At Compass Cove Resort, we’ve always strived to provide our guests with an memorable Myrtle Beach experience. Now, we’re excited to take that commitment even further with a remodel project that will refresh and revitalize our entire resort. Starting in early October and running through March, we’re making major upgrades to ensure that every stay is more extravagant, comfortable, and memorable than ever before.

We’re pleased to announce that Compass Cove Resort will remain open during our renovation project. We understand that your vacation time is precious, so we’ll be working hard to minimize any inconvenience. Our renovations will take place floor by floor, accepting us to offer uninterrupted access to rooms, amenities, and services. Guests should expect possible construction noise during normal business hours.

Our Oceanfront Three Bedroom Condo has a King bed in the master bedroom, a Queen bed in the second bedroom, two queen beds in the third bedroom, a separate living room with a sleeper couch, two bathrooms, 4 T.V.s, wireless internet access, a kitchen entirely equipped with a dishwasher and your basic cookware and dinnerware, laundry facilities, and a private balcony that overlooks the ocean.

You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular Myrtle Beach attractions. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August.
The earlier you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation rentals are reserved very early. Reserving your rental property up to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental home.
Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your family before you book.
Property management companies typically offer renters an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant visitors bothering your life at home. Practice the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and places you would have not otherwise known about!
Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
Protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home while you are out, just like you would at home.
Re-check every room of the rental property to confirm that you've packed all belongings at check-out. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
Go through the rental one final time and scan for damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, remember to take video and pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
Leave a review! Property managers rely on excellent ratings to inspire more reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective.
