Tips for getting the best Myrtle Beach vacation home experience:
How to get the best rental home value:
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier your group can book, the easier your search will be. The best properties are booked early. Booking your rental property up to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation home.
- Summer time is high season in Myrtle Beach. Booking your vacation home in Fall or Spring months is a good way to save on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable homes.
- Some property management companies offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.
- Property managers typically offer renters an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for additional information.
- Often, property management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guides which will include special deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

- Select a group leader, select your trip dates, and choose a budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. Bluewater Resort Hi Rise Unit 517 One Bath With Lovely Ocean Views has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Precise details about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is regularly available online. If you don't see them listed, email the property manager before you book the home. - Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
More considerations for your visit:
- Take a copy of the host's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your .
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, television set or coffee maker. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief text message can prevent lots of concerns.
- Lock your vacation home while you are away. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
- Note any damages to the rental during check in, and immediately e-mail them to the property manager. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are very helpful if a dispute is filed.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors can be an excellent source for finding the best local spots.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
- Double-check every room of the property to make sure that you've packed all belongings at check-out. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Inspect the property a final time and scan for damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the host isn't available, ensure that you take photographs of the property to record its condition at check-out.
- After your trip, leave a review! Hosts rely on great feedback to propel new reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to remedy it.
