Getting the best Myrtle Beach rental home experience:
Find your perfect vacation home:
- To get the best value, try shifting your family's Myrtle Beach vacation week to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer warmer weather, , and reduced traffic.
- Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your family qualifies for a special rate.
- Property management companies typically offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
- Often, property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guide magazines which often include money-saving offers, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
Filter your search:
- Begin by selecting your the best vacation week and a max budget.
- Determine how many beds and the bed configuration your family needs. BRIGADUNE 3 BR -- \"BEACHY\" has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
- Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts is regularly accessible online. If you don't see them listed, email or call the property owner before you reserve your home. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You'll need to determine what is optimal for your trip.
- If there's a particular Myrtle Beach destination you simply love, search for rentals that are either near by, or those that cater to your requirements.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Make certain to ask about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
- If your group is traveling with pets, you will need a pet-friendly rental. Ask for specifics on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Be aware that some hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.
Some things to know before you go:
- Review arrival and departure procedures before leaving home. Save the directions to your phone, and take a printed backup.
- Upon check-in, record any damages to the property and immediately alert the host. Keep records of all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, television set or appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief call prevents quite a few difficulties.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful visitors bothering your peace. Employ the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and attractions you would've not otherwise known!
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Ensure you protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking the rental while you are out, just like you would at home.
- Just prior to departing, complete a final walk-through to confirm you haven't leave anything behind. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Go through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, take photos of the rental to record its condition.
- Did your family have a terrific time? Many rental managers make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property manager was terrific, they would love to hear about it. If anything was wrong and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
