Booking the best Myrtle Beach rental experience:
Money saving strategies:
- The earlier you can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation homes are booked very early. Booking your vacation home up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your rental home.
- Booking your Myrtle Beach vacation home in Fall or Spring is a great way to save money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable properties. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
- Some property management companies offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your property manager if rate reductions are available for your group before you book.
- Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for specifics.
- Many property management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guides which often include special deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a relationship with the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
How to pick the perfect vacation home:
- Choose a group leader, choose your vacation dates, and select a spending budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration your group needs. Cozy- 2bdrm and kids loft bedroom w\/ Golf Cart has 4 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is generally available on booking pages. If they are not listed, contact the host before you book the vacation property. Remember that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds in living rooms. You will need to work out what bed configuration is optimal for your group.
- If your family is traveling with pets, you must reserve a rental that allows animals. Ask for details on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Note that some property owners charge additional pet fees.
- If there's a particular Myrtle Beach beach you simply love, search for homes that are either nearby, or those that cater to your needs.
- Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. .
Tips for a wonderful stay:
- Take a copy of the property manager's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your rental property.
- Hosts are available to help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
- Lock your rental while you are out and about. Keep your property safe!
- To make sure that damages aren't linked to your visit, inspect the rental for any problem areas during arrival. Get in touch with the host right away to record any issues. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be useful.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are usually an incredible resource to find the best local scenic spots.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
- Just before checking out, complete a walk-through to make sure you didn't forget any personal items. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Go through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, take video of the property to record its condition.
- Did you have a terrific vacation? Many rental home management companies make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your rental and/or host was terrific, they would love to hear about it. If anything was defective and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
