Tricks and tips to get the perfect rental experience:
When to book a Myrtle Beach rental & When to go:
- To find the most suitable rental within your budget, we recommend reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
- The earlier you can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental homes are reserved very early. Reserving your rental up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your rental home.
- Some owners offer promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if discounts are available for your group.
- Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer customers an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for additional information.
- Many rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guides which often include special offers, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Finding the perfect vacation home:
- Choose vacation dates and maximum budget.
- Determine how many beds and the configuration you need. Gorgeous Remodeled 3BR, 2BA Camelot Oceanfront. In the heart of Myrtle Beach! has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
- Specific details about bedrooms and bed types is normally accessible on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, email the property owner before you reserve the home. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches.
- Visiting for a single event? Try a map search to locate nearby rentals.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are included before booking.
- Some rentals allow pets, and others do not. Acceptable types of dog or cat, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask the property manager about pets before booking.
Considerations for your stay:
- We recommend storing the owner's information in your smartphone and wallet.
- To ensure that no damages are attributed to your visit, inspect the property for any problem areas when you arrive. text the property manager right away to record any damages. If there is a dispute, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be very helpful.
- Hosts are available to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are an incredible source for finding the best local beaches and restaurants.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Keep the property locked while you're gone! Don't let burglars ruin your holiday.
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the property to reconfirm you've collected all belongings. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Did your group have a wonderful stay? Most rental management companies make it easy for clients to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property management company was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was inoperable and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
