Welcome to Ocean Blue 503!
We also own Ocean Blue 803, which is another 5 bedroom condo in Ocean Blue (vrbo listing # 4150070ha, https://www.vrbo.com/4150070ha). This is another 5 bedroom condo in the Ocean Blue resort on the charming south side and above the motel next door. There are different size beds than Ocean Blue 503. Please take a look at the photos on that listing if the bed configuration for Ocean Blue 503 isn't ideal for your group. We, the owners, self manage both of our condos. This leads to the condo being maintained better than a property that is managed by a property manager. Since we are the owners, we can quickly answer questions about the condo.
The virtual tour, which was refreshed in 2020, accepts you to virtually walk through the entire condo.
Direct ocean front corner/end condo on the beautiful south side of the Ocean Blue Resort. Feel one of the biggest luxury condos in Myrtle Beach. On the 5th floor, 2850 sq. ft, 35 foot long, 300 sq ft ocean front balcony, 5 dedicated bedrooms, 4 full baths . Since it is an end unit, our condo spans from the street side of the building (with a private street side balcony) to the ocean side of the building (with a private oceanfront balcony). This property is very private with only 36 units......12 floors - 3 units per floor and 2 elevators. This complex, which was constructed in 2007, maintains a very private and exclusive feel, yet it's close to all the action Myrtle Beach has to offer! This unit is ideal for extended/multiple families. This property is outfitted with a covered parking garage and pass code locks on all common doors. Who could forget the heated indoor pool, lazy river, Jacuzzi, and outdoor oceanfront pool.....and the soft white sand and the gentle Atlantic Ocean!
Our condo has spectacular vistas from the balconies! Since the neighboring building on the south side of our condo is only 4 stories tall, and our condo is on the 5th floor, we have marvelous unobstructed vistas of the beach looking south from the balconies and most of the rooms in the condo! The street side balcony has a nice ocean view as well! Only the 5 bedroom condos on the south side of Ocean Blue above the 4th floor have this spectacular view of the beach.
The best part is the view of the ocean from your 5th floor master suite and elegantly decorated living area. After a day at the beach basking in the warm summer sun, you'll appreciate your own wet bar, living room with flat screen TV & streaming DVD player, media room with LCD TV & streaming DVD player, and plenty of space to accommodate your family/friends. In this masterpiece, you'll find LCD TV's in all bedrooms, full size washer/dryer, complimentary WiFi, and two fridges to accommodate any size events! There is a 35 foot long private oceanfront balcony off of the master suite as well as the living room, and all bedrooms have a view of either the ocean or the grandiose strand! All of the bedrooms have exterior windows that allow natural light in! A second private balcony that provides spectacular street vistas is located off of the queen suite. This building aims to please, provides simple access for all age groups, and is handicap accessible (Note: condo contains some 34" doors and the kitchen might not be wheelchair accessible).
A entirely equipped kitchen, that includes 2 fridges, 2 ovens, 2 dishwashers, 2 coffee pots, Keurig, waffle maker, crock pot, etc. Our condo contains 7 cable LCD TV's (roughly 100 channels), 2 streaming DVD players, in unit complimentary Wifi, and in building complimentary Wifi.
This property is located on South Ocean Blvd, near 27th Ave South, in the Myrtle Beach South area. This is a peaceful area at the southern end of Myrtle Beach.
Banana boat rides, para-sailing, and jet ski units are available at Downwind Sails Watersports, a short walk down the beach.
Stores, eateries, and a movie theater are located at Market Commons, a short 2 mile drive west of the condo.
Bath towels and linens are supplied with each rental.
We attempt to keep 4 beach chairs, 4 beach towels, and a beach umbrella in the condo. We can't guarantee they will be available due to damage from prior guests. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available for rent from the life guards in season.
Ocean Blue 503 sleeps a max. of 12 people, which assumes a mixture of adults & kids. Some of the beds are not suitable for adults (ie bunk bed). Please look at the photos and bedroom information closely. Our condo is not suitable for 12 adults. Note: fire code limits the condo to a max occupancy of 14 all 24 hours of the day, including kids of all ages. Exceeding the max occupancy will result in immediate termination of the stay without any refund and additional charges to the traveler!

How to book the best Myrtle Beach vacation rental experience:
How to get the best value:
- June, July, and August are high season in the Myrtle Beach area. To get the best value, consider shifting your group's trip dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer warmer temperatures, , and greatly reduced traffic.
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The sooner you can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable properties are reserved very early. Booking your rental six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your vacation rental.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
- Property management companies often offer guests an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for additional information.
- Find a copy of your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitor guides contain money saving offers on local tours and attractions.
How to select the best vacation home in the Myrtle Beach area:
- Select a group lead, select your vacation week, and choose a budget.
- Note the number beds and the bed configuration your family requires. Huge 5 Bedroom Oceanfront Condo, Huge Balcony, Amazing Views, 3 Pools, Jacuzzi! has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
- Specific details about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is usually accessible on booking pages. Otherwise, email the property management company before you reserve the rental. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull out couches in living rooms.
- Are you visiting for a specific event? Use a map search to locate nearby rentals.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
- Do your family pets travel with you? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Remember to ask the property manager before booking, and study your rental agreement! Pet fees or costs applied to your contract.
More tips for your visit:
- Take a copy of the property manager's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental property. Put the host's information in your smartphone.
- To ensure that damages aren't linked to your family's visit, make a record of any problem areas during arrival. Get in touch with the host immediately to relay any damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be valuable.
- Property managers are great sources of help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors can be an incredible source for finding the best local beaches and restaurants.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Ensure you protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home while you are gone, just like you would back home.
- Upon check-out, take a walk-through to confirm you did not forget any personal items. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Did your group have a great vacation? Most rental management companies make it easy for clients to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property management company was fantastic, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was defective and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
