Strategies for getting the perfect Myrtle Beach rental experience:

When to book & When to go:

  • Summertime is high season in the Myrtle Beach area. To get the most suitable vacation home within budget, we recommend booking in Fall or Spring months. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • In the Myrtle Beach area, The sooner you can book a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best rental properties are reserved early. Reserving your vacation property up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your rental home.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer customers an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Look for your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local stories, visitor guides contain coupons for nearby attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.

Narrow your Search:

  • Begin by selecting your the best vacation week and a maximum budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your family needs. Myrtle Beach Resort 6211 has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is normally accessible on booking pages. If not, email the property manager before you book the rental. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds in living rooms. You'll need to determine what is suitable for your trip.
  • If there's a specific Myrtle Beach destination you crave, search for homes that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
  • If your group is vacationing with pets, you must reserve a pet-friendly vacation rental. Get details on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Note that some property owners require additional pet deposits and fees.

More considerations:

  • Put the owner's contact information in your smartphone.
  • Document any issues with the property during check in, and immediately contact the host. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are useful if a dispute arises.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, intercom or kitchen appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call prevents a lot of concerns.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You will magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often a terrific source for finding the best local spots.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Protect the owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home while you are out, just like you would back home.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the rental to make sure you've collected everything. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property owners rely on good ratings to inspire new reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your experience find their best rental home. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to solve it.
