Finding the best Myrtle Beach vacation property experience:
Finding the best rental value:
- Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- To find the largest rental home for your budget, we suggest reserving in the Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular Myrtle Beach attractions. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host whether your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
- Management companies and individual rental owners often offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for additional information.
- Many rental management companies supply Myrtle Beach area travel guide magazines which will include money-saving offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship with the property management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.
Narrow your rental Search:
- Choose your dates and maximum budget.
- Decide how many beds and the bed configuration your family needs. T2012 at The Myrtle Beach Resort: Fantastic Ocean View Condo with Bunk Beds has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
- Specific details about bedrooms and bed counts & types is regularly available on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, call the property owner before reserving the home. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds and bunks. You will need to establish what bed configuration is optimal for your trip.
- If your family is bringing pets, filter your search for a property that allows animals. Make sure to ask for details on breed, size, and type requirements. Be aware that some hosts charge additional pet fees.
- Visiting for a specific event or attraction? If so, use a map search to browse nearby properties.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before reserving a rental
Considerations for your stay:
- Be sure you get the property manager's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your .
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, stereo or appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents many issues.
- Keep your rental home locked while you are away! Don't let burglars ruin your holiday.
- To make sure damages are not attributed to your family's visit, note any problem areas upon your arrival. Speak to the rental manager right away to report any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be helpful.
- Be respectful. Frequently, nearby homes are filled by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking policies is the right thing to do.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Just prior to departing, take a walk-through to confirm you didn't leave anything behind. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Did your family have a great stay? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property management company was wonderful, they would love to hear about it. If anything was wrong and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
