How to book the best Myrtle Beach vacation rental experience:
Get the most from your rental budget:
- The earlier you can book, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation property six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
- Booking a rental in Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable properties. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your group qualifies for a discount.
- Property management companies typically offer renters an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.
- Often, management companies supply Myrtle Beach area travel guide magazines which include money-saving deals, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach area magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.
Choosing the best rental in Myrtle Beach:
- Start by choosing your a vacation week and a maximum budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. Myrtle Beach Resort Amenity-Rich Escape 4205 has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts & types is normally available online. If they are not listed, call the property owner before reserving your home. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds and bunks. You will need to establish what configuration is right for your vacation family.
- Are you bringing the family pet? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional fees or costs may be applied to your contract.
- Are you visiting for a specific attraction or event? Try a map search to find nearby rentals.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all required amenities are available before booking
Some things to know before you go:
- Be sure you get the owner's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your rental home.
- Hosts are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask questions during your stay.
- Keep the property locked while you're out! Don't let burglars ruin your holiday.
- To make certain damages aren't linked to your visit, make note of any problem areas when you arrive. message the property manager immediately to record your findings. If there is a dispute, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be helpful.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome visitors disrupting your quiet neighborhood. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and attractions you would've never otherwise known about!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
- Double-check the rental property to confirm that you've packed all belongings at departure. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Go through the property one final time and scan for damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager is not available, remember to take photos and video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- Remember to leave a review! Property owners rely on great reviews to propel future reservations. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will will be grateful for your review find their best vacation home. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
