Apache Pier, the longest wooden pier on the east coast, is adjacent to the resort. The bait & tackle shop, arcade games, casual dining and nightly live entertainment throughout the summer make it a great place to go. The Myrtle Beach Airport is conveniently located only 13.5 miles away!

Please Note:
Private vacation rental guests can appreciate the heated outdoor bi-level pools and hot tub at Margate Tower. However, the Embassy Suites Complex Splash Park and other pools located throughout Kingston Resort are not accessible.

We generally accept Saturday to Saturday, 7-nighttime reservations in-season (Memorial Day to Labor Day). Alternate check-in / check-out dates and/or shorter stays may be available upon request, with a 3-nighttime minimum Memorial Day to Labor Day.

HOA policy states that the guest making the reservation must be 25 years of age or older and must occupy the rental property the entire length of the stay. Additionally, smoking is NOT allowed inside the condo or out on the balcony. Family Animals are not allowed at any time.

Please Note: Resort management restricts golf cart units to the on-site Kingston golf cart rental office. Guests who wish to bring their personal golf carts may do so, only after completing a registration form with the resort office prior to arrival. This is the current resort policy which is subject to change. Motorcycle parking is allowed in the designated motorcycle parking area only; located just prior to the front gate and across from the exercise center. Trailer parking is NOT allowed at any time.

Find your best deal:

  • Summertime is the most expensive season in the Myrtle Beach area. Booking a rental in the Fall or Spring is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes.
  • Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Winter holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your family qualifies for a discount.
  • Property management companies usually offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Many rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guides which often include special offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Selecting the perfect vacation rental in the Myrtle Beach area:

  • Does your family require specific amenities? Most websites include search filters with amenity lists. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before booking

  • Respect the neighborhood. Frequently, nearby homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can often help. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Keep your rental home locked while you're out! Don't let crooks spoil your family vacation.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected everything. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental one final time and scan for damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the host isn't available, take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your group have a great vacation? Many rental managers make it easy for vacationers to provide reviews. If your property and/or property management company was great, they would love to hear about it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
