Getting the best Myrtle Beach rental home experience:

When to reserve a Myrtle Beach rental home & When to go:

  • Book your vacation in Fall or Spring to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.
  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Property managers often offer renters an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Often, rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area travel guide magazines which often include money-saving offers, either offered directly by local companies, or through a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Make a plan and pick the right Myrtle Beach rental:

  • Begin by choosing your the best vacation week and a max budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. Walking distance to 78Fitness, tennis, pickle ball courts and indoor pool!! has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is normally available on booking pages. Otherwise, email or call the property management company before reserving the vacation home. Note that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds.
  • Looking for particular amenities? Most rental websites include amenity lists and search filters. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. .
  • Traveling with pets? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement! Extra fees or charges may be applied to your invoice.

More tips for your stay:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Add a note with the directions to your phone, and take a printed copy.
  • At Check-in, make note of any issues with the property and immediately contact the owner. Keep records of all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
  • Hosts are available to help! Don't be shy to ask questions during your stay.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will enhance your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are a great resource to find the best local beaches and hangouts.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Ensure you protect the owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home when you are away, just like you would at home.
  • Double-check every room of the property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items at check-out. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did you have a terrific stay? Most rental management companies make it easy for guests to provide comments. If your rental and/or host was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was amiss and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
